It have been nearly a year blogem-up.com and this blog is online, and for the last 6 month most of the time only this blog is being active with blog updates. The main website which offer a very unique way of advertising, does not have much activities going on. Why? So now, I would to make a postmortem a bit and try to look for the reason why it became like this.

1. The first reason is automation. This website(main page) does not have any back end automation. Previously all emails and especially submission of participation from user was handled manually. Just for your information this website does not apply any scripts at all for its main function except for the submission and contact form.
2. Number two, SPAM. At some point, I received a large number of SPAM submission up to thousands of emails, until i have fed up to check whether the submission is genuine or not. At the end I have stop to check for any submission anymore. So here we can see that spam protection script comes in handy.
3. The third item my related to the first item. User who submitted to join this program does follow the instruction given at all and sometime is totally forgot about this program totally. This is maybe there is now automated function which can remind the user or even can make my service more professional at the first place.
4. It is really very, very, very hard to this kind of thing part-time. When the idea first came up to developed this website, I’m just planning to make it as hobby only since at the same time I have several blogs to maintain also as a hobby. But once you start to get involve with other user or you can call it customer to your service, everything will change.
5. And last MONEY. I would not say that money is everything in life,but it heck a very important thing in life. If at the first place I have plenty of fund for me to invest in this website, this list will not be exist today and I would list out all my great story of success instead, maybe. This website gets a moderate amount of visitors. But my conversion rate for adsense come to the value of zero.(really need to check this out)

So that is what I have in mind of why my great idea actually didn’t work out. So did I loose hope know? Sorry not me. I am still very confident that this website will still be a success one day.

So now is the time for me to make a change. Starting from today….errr. maybe tomorrow. The website will be closed. Everybody still can access the website and this blog. but the submission form will be disable. Some changes already in mind, maybe a little bit of the conceptual change and how things will be controlled here. The only thing is I did not have any budget to hire someone for a script. That is why I’m putting up the chip in widget(see at the right side) to get some fund for me to create a script.

So for whoever feels that they like to see my idea to be realized you may contribute, but not necessarily with money. You can even give some thought about this matter, to spread about all my concern here or maybe some ideas on how for me to get extra money, or even just give me a comment or two.

So guy pray for me hopefully one day my dream will come true.
